Challenge
Deploying 250,000 ice cream cabinets in strategic locations across Indonesia while ensuring maximum customer reach and product visibility. The goal is to identify and validate optimal Points of Interest (PoI) such as schools, transport hubs, prayer buildings, and “toko kelontong” in small streets.
Our Solution
Using advanced geospatial mapping and telco big data analytics, we developed a data-driven strategy to:
-
Analyze Existing Cabinet Placement
Evaluate current cabinet locations within 500x500 grid cells to determine if they are positioned in high-traffic areas. -
Traffic-Based Validation
Cross-reference cabinet locations with foot traffic heatmaps to identify underperforming or high-potential areas. -
People Density Mapping
Use population density data to recommend cabinet deployment in densely populated neighborhoods. -
PoI Prioritization
Generate a list of strategic PoIs based on criteria such as proximity to schools, prayer buildings, transport hubs, and local “toko kelontong” to maximize visibility and sales.
Impact
-
Optimized Deployment
Ensure cabinets are positioned in high-demand areas, increasing foot traffic engagement. -
Strategic Expansion
Streamlined decision-making for new cabinet placements based on accurate traffic and demographic insights. -
Efficient Resource Allocation
Avoid over-saturation by recommending only the most viable PoIs.
By integrating big data insights with precise mapping, we help our partner achieve better coverage, greater sales, and smarter resource allocation for their massive ice cream cabinet deployment project.
